If you drive a 2011 BMW 1, 5, 7, X5, or X6 and need to replace your factory installed TPMS sensors, you may be faced with a dilemma: Does my vehicle require the Huf RDE008 or Huf RDE012 TPMS sensor?
Looking for BMW 3 Series TPMS? Scroll down…
TPMS fitment for the 2011 BMW 1, 5, 6, X5, X6 depends on the production date of the vehicles. To confuse matters, BMW decided to use two different types of TPMS sensors for some early and late 2011 BMW models. You can locate the production date (month/year) of your 2011 BMW by checking the vehicle placard on the door sill on the drivers side.
2011 BMW 1, 5, 7 models built before 9/10 require the Huf RDE008 TPMS sensor. Models built ON or AFTER 9/10 require the Huf RDE012 sensor.
2011 BMW X5 and X6 models built before 10/10 require the Huf RDE008 TPMS sensor. Models built ON or AFTER 10/10 require the Huf RDE012 sensor.

All sensors are sold as complete units. Compatible with most stock and aftermarket rims. Please contact your wheel manufacturer to confirm fitment.
